chloe the shy oneMeet Chloe Jane
South Korean. Adorable. And, Lord willing, theirs.

Help us bring this little girl home.

UPDATE: Because of donations this weekend (over $4,000), the Murschells' agency encouraged them to proceed and extended their time till the end of the week. Please keep praying, and thank you for your gifts.
             PRAISE THE LORD!
As of noon today (Weds. 20 September), the Lord has provided the rest of the money that was needed for Chloe's referral. The Murschells are deeply grateful for all the prayer and prayerful giving.* Thank you so much!

* For those of you who have inquired about helping with the Murschells' travel expenses, via Frequent Flyer miles or points donations, that would still be very much appreciated! If you are interested, please contact h2globalgrace@gmail.com for more information on how to contribute in that way.

Meet Chloe Jane

Chloe is a little girl living in an orphanage in South Korea. She was born on June 29, 2004. (See more photos.)

Although she is considered developmentally delayed, she will probably improve dramatically when she can come home to a permanent home. She loves music and seems to be shy, yet strong-willed.

Chloe is a beautiful little girl. (She doesn't know this yet.)
She does not know this yet, either, but she is a beautiful little girl in need of a Christian home.

Meet the Murschell family

Mick and Beth Murschell live in Bradenton, Florida, with their three adopted children (Bailey, Andrew, and David). They are faithful members of Community Baptist Church and are committed to teaching their children about the God of the Bible. You can learn more about the Murschell family at their website, www.murschell.com.

Beth first saw little Chloe in late winter of 2006.
I spotted her in some photos on the Korean website, and started doing detective work.... We read her information, saw video and pictures, and knew she was ours. We have a bed, clothes, and a name for her, but not enough money to bring her home.
She is in the same orphanage where David and Andrew lived. The Murschells decided they wanted to adopt a fourth time, and they wanted to name her "Chloe Jane." The Murschells had been expecting a substantial amount of money from a situation at Mick's workplace, but what had been a "sure thing" has not happened. In the meantime, Chloe's adoption process sped along at a record pace. Mick and Beth have had all her paperwork for months, and their agency has been very gracious and as accommodating as possible. The only hold-up has been funding. In fact, if it were not for the lack of money, Chloe would already be home with them today.

Meet the Need

When we created this webpage, the Murschells lacked $6,950 of the total $13,000 they needed to adopt Chloe Jane. Over $4,000 has been donated since Friday to help them meet their deadline Monday, September 18. Because of the incoming funds, the Murschells' agency has given them a greenlight to continue pursuing Chloe's referral. They now have till the end of the week to come up with the rest of the money. Praise the Lord! The amount needed now is: $2,748 $0!

Mick and Beth have prayed about their options. There is not room here to share all the details, but they would testify that the way events have unfolded could be attributed only to God's sovereign hand. They are trusting Him to provide for what He wants for their family. Their desire is still to bring Chloe into their home. They are convinced that, if God is in this, time limitations and financial limitations are not too hard for Him.

Bringing orphans into Christian homes is an investment both for now and for eternity. If you share our burden to help Chloe become a part of the Murschell family, please pray for them, and please prayerfully consider a tax-deductible donation to help them raise the remaining $2,748 $0
.
