They manufacture anything to do with aerospace technology. They are the leader in manufacturing helicopter in the US. They are also the largest manufacturer of elevators and escalators in the entire world. Under his leadership Mr. Louis Chenevert insisted on incorporating only the most sophisticated technology when it came to jet engines and they have clients that include commercial and military companies all over the nation. Yet his biggest accomplishment at United Technologies Corporation was in the year long negotiations for Goodrich. With patience and diligence on Louis part, UTC was able to acquire the company for $18.5 billion dollars. Louis Chenevert started at the aerospace company called Pratt & Whitney Canada in the early 90’s. He worked his way up until the was elected President in 1999.
